Each year, our Stage One students (Year 1 and 2) take part in an exciting Spelling Bee. Congratulations to one of the winners, Layla I, and runner-up, Baz. All the children did an amazing job spelling some very challenging words and deserve to be praised for their efforts.

This term, Stage 2 and Stage 3 students participated in the Premier's Spelling Bee, practising and learning a wide range of challenging words. This year, the competition was conducted within classrooms rather than through a school final, as classes aligned with their stage groups. This approach not only maximised learning time but also provided students with multiple opportunities to demonstrate their spelling skills across several rounds, rather than relying on a single competition.

Congratulations to our Stage 2 winner, Avery, and runner-up, Kacper, as well as our Stage 3 winner, Dean, and runner-up, Corin. As the winning spellers, Avery and Dean have earned the opportunity to represent our school in the 2026 Premier's Spelling Bee Regional Final, which will be held online next term. We wish them the very best of luck and are confident they will continue to practise diligently and be ready to take on talented spellers from schools across the region.

Our Christmas in July movie night will be held on Saturday 25th July. We are in need of volunteers on the night to help out on the stalls. If you are keen to help organise the event or if you’re available to work a shift on a stall, please send a message to Erin or email:
