What Caring Students We Have at Heathcote East.......

We received the following email last week from a parent:

On Tuesday my mum slipped over on some gravel while walking home from school. She had trouble getting up, because she has MS, so messages don't make their way through the nerves to one of her legs.

Three of your year 5 students stopped to help her. Lauren and one of the other girls tried to help her up, and Ryan walked home with her to help carry a bag.

I just wanted to let you know, because it is so lovely to see that kindness, as well as the confidence to help others, from the children in the school community.

The other girl was Abby. We are all so proud of Ryan, Abby and Lauren for showing such care, concern and compassion for someone who needed assistance.
