Canteen

Our school canteen 'The Snack Shack' is proudly run by Phoenix Community Project Inc. The Snack Shack creates meaningful, paid work opportunities for people with disabilities while serving fresh, healthy food that kids know and love.

The canteen menu is fully compliant with the NSW Department of Education’s Healthy School Canteen Strategy.

Canteen opening times

The Snack Shack is open Tuesdays and Fridays, available for Lunch and Fruito. Online order cut off is 8:50am daily.

Students can purchase a selection of snacks and drinks over the counter using cash during the first 10 minutes of each break.

Order online

The Snack Shack uses the Spriggy Schools app for online canteen orders. Pre-orders are available for both recess and lunch and must be submitted by 8:50 am on canteen days.

To get started:

Step 1: Download the Spriggy Schools app

Step 2: Create a Spriggy Schools account

Step 3: Add your children and select Heathcote East Public School

Step 4: Place an order for recess or lunch
