Green and Gold Day

Thank you to everyone (including parents) who donned their green and gold on Thursday to support the Aussies at the Olympics. It was a day when we threw away the books and students, parents and teachers had a well earned break from Learning from Home.  It was a chance to rest, recuperate, have some fun and cheer on the Aussies. Teachers set some fun Olympic themed activities during the day and all classes had a Zoom meeting to catch up with friends and have some fun. I had the pleasure of joining in all the class Zoom meetings throughout the morning, and even participated in a game of Kahoot with 5/6G. Unfortunately for me, I’m not great with identifying Olympic flags, but clearly this is a special talent for some students in 5/6G. It was lovely to touch base with all the children in each class and I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the children.
