Kindergarten transition program 2019

Heathcote East Public School offers a very comprehensive Kindergarten Transition Program to ensure the smooth transition of all children into their first class at 'Big School'.

Our program starts in Term 1 with a School Tour and allows for many visits to the school and the Kindergarten classroom, so children become very familiar with the school environment, start to build friendships with other children, relationships with teachers and other staff  and form a close bond with the Year 5 children who will be their buddies when they start school the following year.
