It was an absolute pleasure to accompany our 2024 HEPS Leadership team of Priya, Will, Declan, Lilly, CJ and Piper to the International Convention Centre at Darling Harbour on Monday for the National Young Leaders Conference. We were joined by over 1000 other primary school leaders from all over NSW to listen to and engage with some Australian heroes and hear their inspiring stories. Throughout the day we heard from Anastasia Woolmer, an Australian Memory Champion, Bryson Klein, Australian Ninja Warrior, Eva Moores and Matt Cosgrove, co-authors of the 'Worst Week Ever' and Macca the Alpaca book series and Steven O'Keefe, Sydney Sixers and NSW cricketer. All speakers were extremely engaging and we even managed to sneak a few photos with some. I am so proud of the way our leaders conducted themselves, particularly on the busy train to and from the Town Hall. We even received an email from a member of the public, commenting on this and I will share this below. Congratulations leaders on one of your first assignments of 2024. You did an amazing job!!
